A Dream About To Come True?

It was August of 2006 and I clearly remember sitting around the table with John and Dixie in the "community room" in the building back behind the main house.   We had just met with the seller of the land at Ft. Jacques and had agreed to a purchase price and to buy the land.

The cost was about 50 times what we had in the building fund at that time.   But God was faithful and our supporters were faithful and doors opened, checks were written and we had the funds in time.

We had/we have a dream and step #1 had been completed.

Since 2006, we've been slowly but surely knocking down the stages/phases of getting Ft. Jacques completed.

Step by step we're getting closer to that dream.

But this Friday, Saturday and Sunday,  you can help us take a huge leap forward in securing that dream for the kids at GLA.  For three days, Family Christian Stores is donating 100% of their profits and matching any donations $1 for $1 to help GLA.    The goal is for them to raise enough money to build the new nursery, NICU and main office in three days time.

We have everything "covered" for the Toddler House, so then we'd need to build some staff and guest housing and we'd be there.  The dream would be complete!

But to get there, we need your help.  We need your help this weekend.

Shop at Family Christian Stores - or go donate to them during these three days.   Help them achieve our dream.

Spread the word.  Tell others.   I will post an update probably once a day on the blog on how things are coming but will be "busier" than that on Facebook, Twitter and such getting the word out.

Pray - pray that hearts and pocketbooks will be opened and people will experience the joy of giving and making a lasting difference for the kids in Haiti.

Thank you!

Tom

As a reminder, all sales count - whether in a store or online, so if it's not convenient for you to shop at Family Christian stores in person, go to www.familychristian.com and shop online. Thanks!
