A couple of you have mentioned this before, so I thought I'd throw it out there. Let me explain. One of the many things that I enjoy about my job is that I get to talk (either verbally or electronically) with countless numbers of you on a daily basis. The conversations are about a wide range of subjects but they focus on one main topic - helping the kids that are in Haiti or are from Haiti.
A couple of times "you" have mentioned that it would be great to be able to talk more often and to share it with more people.
So here's the question/idea - from what I've been able to figure out, it would be possible to do a Google Hangout with up to 10 people at a time. Or we could set up a "group" on Facebook and do a "text" chat on there - but you'd have to be a member of that group.
If I were to set up one or two times a week where for 30 minutes to an hour, I'd set up a Google Hangout or a Facebook chat and if you had any questions about anything relating to the kids in Haiti, helping in Haiti and such, you could stop by and we could talk?
I can guarantee you that I won't have all of the answers, but I can guarantee that I would do my best to get you the answers or to get you in touch with the person who can get you those answers.
Is that something that you'd find useful? Either e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org or Facebook me or leave a comment here to let me know whether you'd find it a potentially good idea.
Thanks for caring about the kids.
