Calling all Bargain Shoppers! Christmas decorations are officially down. And as I’m packing them up to be stored away in the in the barn until 11 months pass and we can once again blow off the dust, lift the lid, and reveal the magical glow of Christmas glimmer, I am sad to say not many lights will be making it into the storage bin or back out again. This season was the last for many of our plastic bulbs, garland, and lights. So… to anyone who braves the “clearance isles” of their local department store this time of year and will be traveling to GLA in the next 11 months or knows someone who will be, and would like to throw a set or two of lights in their cart for the kids Christmas next year it would be more than welcomed. I know its not a necessity to have Christmas décor or lights, but the kids look forward to it so very much and it brings them a lot of joy throughout the Christmas season to hang those lights in their rooms and around the balconies. Who am I kidding… brings a lot of joy to all of us… not just the little ones!
