(Church of Hope)
The Jordan family, Brandon, Nikki, Bailee,
Kylee, and Kofee, have been serving in Haiti for the past 6 years. Their primary objective in Haiti has
been church planting. The Jordans
spent five years assisting in the establishment and planting of two Haitian
churches – training the nationals to run and operate the ministries giving them
the ability to step out and begin another church. It was during this transition that the earthquake took place
and God brought the Jordans’ ministry and the ministry of GLA together. After working and ministering with GLA
and adapting to a new area God impressed on their hearts to start a church near
the GLA toddler house.
The first service
of L'Eglise D’Espoir (The Church of Hope) was held on 31 October 2010. The church has become a beacon of light to the neighborhood
and is reaching precious Haitian people for the cause of Christ. Several of the Haitian staff of GLA
have become members or have started sending their families to the church. In just these few short months Eglise D’Espoir
has reached max capacity for the small apartment that they are renting.
Each Sunday there are over 150 adults and
between 50 and 75 children in attendance.
It is a true blessing to see how God is using His church to reach His
people. We covet your prayers for
the Jordan Family and Eglise D’Espoir.
