Google Says $1?

Did you know that Google's Non-Profit division (a division that helps non-profits, not an actual non-profit themselves) has a program where they solicit $1 donations from their app users to help non-profits?   Read about it at http://www.google.com/onetoday/.

Over the course of the next few weeks, I'm going to be putting a number of projects that will help GLA up on their app.   But that's not why I'm writing this.....

I'm fascinated by the entire concept of getting a group of engaged individuals, individuals who feel like they want to make a difference and encouraging them to make a difference......

ONE.DOLLAR.AT.A.TIME.

So, don't think that whatever you can do to help us finish off the year doesn't matter.

Every dollar matters.

Go to www.glahaiti.org and click on the "Donate" button - or send a check.

On behalf of the kids at GLA, thank you for every dollar you can give to help us.

Tom

You Give is the same type of program but it takes a percentage of your purchase (based on what the vendor wants to give) to a non profit of your choice...and for me I choose GLA :
