Home Again and We LIKE It!

Yes she is excited that she is back at the orphanage!  Frantina 8172012At first, she did not remember some of the people but today, she is everybody's friend!

We did not arrive back at the orphanage until 8:30 PM last night.  We spent 3 hours and 40 minutes at the border.  In fact, the Haitian side of the border closed before we got there and so none of us has a stamp in our passport!

Frantina did great on the trip back to Haiti.  She didn't cry very often and usually it was because she wanted to get out of her seat or wanted something that she couldn't have!

For right now, Frantina is sleeping in my room at night.  She is spending the day with Vivianne, Magdala, or Ruth.  She still has a dressing over her incision and the doctor told us that we need to be extra careful with her for a couple of weeks until the incision is healed and she is stronger.

Truly, I don't think she needs to be much stronger!  She is doing so well. as you can see by this photo.  She is happy, eating great, and sleeping most of the night.  She got up at 4:30 AM and I gave her a bottle and she slept until 8 AM.

She is in her crib in my room right now, sound asleep.  We are all so happy to be home again!  There is no place like home, for sure!
