Hurricane Irma Passed Haiti Without Damage to GLA

We just wanted everyone to know that Hurricane Irma passed by Haiti during the night last night.  We had some rain and little bit of wind but no damage at the orphanage.  Friends in Cap Haitian also said the same thing.  We did not get any of the horrible wind that destroyed so many buildings on some of the other Caribbean islands.  We are very thankful and just pray that this storm turns north and back to the west and doesn't hit Florida and the eastern coast of the States.

We thank you for all of your prayers and we are so thankful that hanageHaiti was spared from the destruction which could have come from this storm.

Fasted and prayed that God would place His hand over the orphanage as the storm passed through. He is so good. Thank you for the reports. Petititioning with the same request per Hurrican Maria. May He preserve all His servants and His little ones in the midst of these storms as He did His people in Egypt when He had to send the plagues. And even more importantly, praying that God would soften the soil of the hearts of those who do not know Him and that roots would grow from the seed He has planted there and hold strong instead of them being swept away when the rains come. In Jesus's name, amen.
