IBESR sent us three new abandoned children…

On Wednesday, Magaly had an appointment to meet IBESR social workers at Little Brothers and Little Sisters Hospital in Port-au-Prince.  They had asked her to come down because they had several abandoned children at the orphanage and even though the Hospital has their own orphanage in Kenscoff, they did not have room for any of these children.

Magaly came home and said she was sorry she brought three children but it was just so sad how many abandoned children they had that needed a place to live!  One of the children has a heart condition that we will try and find medical for him.  All three of the children are between 2 and 3 years old.  They all talk and both boys talk a lot!

The hospital and IBESR have search the the parents and have been unable to find them.  They even put messages over the radio and the parents did not come back to the hospital to get the children.  Unfortunately, when children are abandoned like this, the orphanage does not get any birth parent information.  Their new lives started On 16 May 2012!

My heart cries out for these precious wee ones. May the Lord, Jesus, wrap His arms about them and may they feel His presence as they rest in His peace, for He knows every hair upon their little heads. May the Lord give the staff strength and wisdom as they minister to these little babes. God Bless You and Keep You Always, Dr. Peg
