Our nerves are shot!  After a couple of weeks with no big aftershocks, we have had 4 of them in less than 24 hours!  We had two more at 1:25 AM and 1:35 AM.  Both rattled windows and it shook our beds.  Please Lord let these stop so we can get some sleep!  James has taken his pillow and blanket out to sleep in the car.  My nannies are being pretty good and staying inside with the children for now.  I can hear people all around us outside praying and making noise.  This time, the dogs are barking in the community. They' have always been silent before.  I just want this shaking to stop!

Dixie, I truly feel for all of you. How frightening those aftershocks must be! Keep trusting in the Lord and put all of GLA in his hands. What a test of faith this is for you and your staff. Hang in there! We are praying for you and all of your needs.

I will be praying for peaceful sleep for you all night while I am at work tonight. It is amazing to me that the aftershocks continue to come. I would think the earth should be tired enough that it would just want to rest like you do!

Dixie, has anyone asked to see the children UNICEF has in camps? Could Magaly and Ernst get in to observe their health- treatment-etc?? We pray for you daily.
