I was supposed to return to Haiti today but I have a horrible cold, laryngitis, and an ear infection, so I have put off flying until my ear infection gets better. I will be leaving Colorado on Monday, December 5. I am on an antibiotic and hopefully, I will be well by Monday. I knew when I left Chicago and my ear wouldn’t pop and I had a lot of pain in it that I would probably have a problem. But I think I did pretty well for all of the airplane rides I took!
Melissa and Susie tell me that we have had 9 admissions to the nursery since I left. I haven’t blogged about Haiti since I left! I know that Susan Westwood has been very busy with sick babies in the NICU. I am thankful that there is an Australian nurse there right now who has been a big help to her during my absence.
Four of the children are for assistance. They are there for a short time while they grow and get healthy. They will eventually go back home to their families. I think this is the most children we have had for assistance at any one time for quite awhile!

Five of the children are for adoption. Their parents for one reason or another could not keep them and care for them. As I was writing this blog update, another child was admitted and so I had to change what I wrote! I better post this quickly, but I have to update it again!
