Prayer Request - Two Small Children

I just got an update from Dixie that they have two new girls at the orphanage who really need our prayers:

Lovely came to the orphanage about 2 hours ago.   She weighs 1 lb and 10 oz.   That's right, that's not a misprint.   To say that her health is fragile is an understatement.

Sarafina came from Cazale yesterday and she weights in at almost four times what Lovely does.   She's 4 lbs.

Please join us in praying for the health of these two fragile little gifts from God.   Pray that God will give Dixie and her staff the wisdom that they need to be able to care for these two.

God has a plan for their lives and I'd love it if you could join us in praying that God would make His plan for them obvious and would give us the resources, the energy, the compassion and the skills necessary to play our role in their lives.

Thank you for being the faithful supporters that you are, it means more than you'll ever know.

Dear Loving Father, we pray for these precious children. We don't know much, but we know that you love them, adore them, and are grieved by their condition. We pray for you mercy and grace to pour out on them in such an overabundance that all see how wonderful you are.

Jesus, please hold these precious babies in your arms, bringing health and healing to their little bodies. I also lift up Dixie and the GLA staff, Lord. Give them supernatural wisdom and strength as they do all that they can to help these children. Bring the tools and supplies and medicines needed to care for the babies and bring your hope into a very difficult situation. Do what only You can do, Jesus! We invite You to be present and working in this situation! Thank you Jesus!
