I had to take my son, Mark, down to his school this afternoon (Saturday) because he had a basketball game. We left the house at 1:45 PM and didn’t get back home until 8 PM! I hate going down to Port-au-Prince on Saturdays. The traffic is horrible and I don’t really like driving home in the dark on this mountain road.
When we arrived home, I had to put some groceries away and try to find something to eat since we missed supper. So by the time I got upstairs and sat down in my chair, I was not in a real good mood and I was very very tired. But then I opened up my email and there was an email from Luis MANON saying that his cousin in Santo Domingo, Dr. Wilfredo Manon Rossi, has everything ready for Frantina to come and have tests done. I just need to give him the date we will be there!
All of a sudden, I wasn’t as tired and my mood is much better! I have been watching my emails continuously to see if anyone would say she could come and now I can start making plans to leave Haiti with her early this coming week! I have never been to the DR so this will be something new for me.
It will probably take us about 8 to 10 hours driving to get there. We will have to cross the border and that can take quite a bit of time. Please keep Frantina in your prayers. Pray that God will heal her whether it be miraculously or through surgery. I just want this beautiful little girl to come back to Haiti with a bright future ahead of her.
