In addition to the big move to Fort Jacques this week, one of our Main House children had to make a big transition today as well. Djoulie originally came to us for medical assistance. I was told she was quite unwell when she arrived. She has since fully recovered and continues to blossom. In the few months I've had with her, she has made a huge impression for the little girl that she is. She is loud and full of life. Although she is from the youngest bunch in our big nursery, the nannies were adamant that she start in Pre-School. While it's only been a week in school, she has continued to impress those who have had some involvement with her. When I took her out of school today to say goodbye to her primary nanny, her nanny made sure to quickly feed her lunch so she wouldn't be hungry when she arrived at her new home. What I also only recently learned was that Djoulie had an identical twin sister waiting for her. When we arrived Djoulie clung to me with all that she had. We tried to have her sit with her sister and the other kids but she remained timid. Please pray that she will find a comfort in her new surroundings and that she will remain in good health. Djoulie still has a small hole in her heart that needs to be reassessed next year at this time. May God fill that physical and emotional hole she is currently experiencing...
