Sunday’s can be busy days, too!

The team from Sunrise Methodist Church in Colorado Springs really wanted to finish what they had started at Fort Jacques, so John took them up to the property after Sunday lunch to finish putting the plywood exterior walls on the staff house.  They had one wall to finish.  Of course, it is the most difficult wall and is about 10 feet off the ground!  This means they will have to use a ladder or two to put up the sheets of plywood.

Hopefully they will be able to finish the wall before it gets too late in the afternoon.  Having this done means that the Crossroads team coming tomorrow will be able to start on the inside finishing immediately.

As we were leaving church this morning, I received a call from Magaly telling me that we needed to copy 13 dossiers before tomorrow morning and send them to Judge Cazimir for her to see.  So Melissa, Susie and Emelyne started making photocopies for all 13 dossiers.  A dossier has a lot of documents in it, so it took about 2 1/2 hours to get them all done.

Our older laser printer broke a week or so ago and on Thursday, I went downtown and bought a new one that is a printer/copier/ scanner all in one.  So they had our big office copier going along with the new smaller laser copier!  Many times our big copier will be down and we might go 3 or more days before IMG_0647they can come fix it.  Now, we can continue our work with the smaller copier!

I think I will go take a short nap or just read my book for awhile. Bruno, our Great Dane, knows how to take a nap and snores too!  LOL

Tomorrow starts another busy week!

Sorry that you had to work on Sunday but very exciting that you have that many dossiers. Are the number of dossiers getting higher or is it still really low compared to the number of sweet children? Hope the rest of your day is relaxing before a busy week begins.

On a less serious tone : maybe you should try to run to the sofa faster than the Great Dane ;-)

Dixie, I can picture Bruno being chased out of the garbage in the kitchen on the main floor, but I am guessing he is "deaf" when it comes to leaving room for the humans on the couch!!!! He might even snore as loud as our basset hound did! LOL ! ! !

Who is judge cazimer? Does she do IBESR approvals or is she involved in another part of the process?
