The Power of 10

God sends many different people through our doors every year. Many share with us new ideas that sometimes makes us stop and think how we could do something with those idea.  One visitor shared the idea of how he had started a non-profit called Mission 10.

The idea of this project is that most of us can find an extra $10 each month that we could donate to charity. Many people have told me that they feel like $10 isn’t very much to give.  But if GLA can get 1000 people to give $10, that will go a long ways to helping the children. We always appreciate bigger donations, but also realize that many people do not have the funds to give more.

Would you consider signing up for automatic monthly donations? Give $10 or more per month -whatever you can afford. Most of us spend $10 on coffee, eating out, drinks, or whatever you may buy. Can you give up just a coffee or two each month? One trip to McDonald’s or wherever you like to eat? Give up a couple of sodas? Can you give something up so that a child at the orphanage can have food, medicine, and proper care? Please go to and sign up for monthly donations in the Power of 10 or use the donate button below!

If everyone gives one thread the poor man will have a shirt.

By giving $10 monthly along with others doing the same, you too can make a difference and change the lives of the children at GLA!

I love this idea. Signed up and ready to go! I follow your blog and pray for the children and workers, but until now, haven't given in a consistent way. Hope this helps in some small way and that GLA receives 1000 people to help support God's mission and your goodness in GLA. THANK you for all that you do.

I to have followed this blog for a long time yet never commited to financially supporting God's little angels. As of today that has changed. As the Lord leads I encourage each of you who know someone who has adopted from GLA or read the blogs to join in with the power of 10 that this post talks about. GLA is making a difference. Let's stand with them. Kristen
