We just received two baby girls (one 6 weeks old and one 17 months old) yesterday whose mother died during childbirth and the father does not think he can care for them. The mom was only 20 years old and she and the papa had been together 5 years, so they were childhood sweethearts!
Papa placed his daughters at GLA and we will help him by caring for the children until he can grieve for his wife and make a decision with the rest of his family about what to do for the children. We are praying that a family member will step up and help him with raising the girls. The woman in the photos is an aunt. Please pray that the father can find help to care for his daughters and can take them back home with him in the near future.
To continue to take in children like these baby girls, we need financial support. Please make a donation to the general fund so that we can buy baby formula, water, supplies, and pay for nurses and nannies to care for the children.
Every donation makes a difference in the lives of these children. You make a difference and without you God's Littlest Angels would not be able to help babies like these two little sisters. Join us in keeping this father and his daughters together. That is our goal and you can help!
Time's running out to make a tax-deductible donation in 2019! Thanks for your support this year, and best wishes for a happy and healthy 2020!
