God’s Littlest Angels

We Think It's Time for YOU to Come to Haiti!

If you got our last newsletter, you saw the news that we are planning on moving the main house up to our Fort Jacques property by August 1st. Our main house is home to our offices, our NICU, two nurseries, Dixie & John, and countless staff. As you can imagine – this will be a big job!

Moving everyone up there means we will not have to pay rent for another year on the main house which will allow us to use that money for other permanent building projects at Fort Jacques. What a blessing it will be to have all of us on the same property some day. This is going to be a daunting project and we are going to need lots of help to pack, clean, and move everything and everyone.

We are also in great need of skilled labor that can come and help us build some of the temporary structures that are needed to fit the main house at Fort Jacques until our new “main house” can be built up there.

Simultaneously, we’re also continuing work on building the guest house, parent cottages, TH director house and repairs revisions to existing structure. We’ve even still got some hurricane damage repair to knock out. It’s a lot to do and we need your help.

Would you consider leading a team to Haiti in the next few months? We need people to pack, people to organize, people to build. Get together a group of friends (or a group of strangers!) and come help us make this HUGE move.

If you would like to reserve a week for your team to come, please contact Laurie (719-638-4348 & gla-usa@glahaiti.org) in our Colorado office and she will get all of your questions answered and the paperwork needed for the trip sent your way. We’re ready to have teams as early as the first week of March! Let’s fill up the calendar and get these projects finished.

We couldn’t care for the kids in the way that we do without your amazing support! This is one of those times when we need an extra surge of help. Can you come and lend a hand?
