‘The Journey Home’ is a testament to the power of family and community and a conviction that children thrive best in families. We've identified four families ready to reunite with their children. These aren't just reunifications; they're homecomings filled with joy, love, and the promise of a brighter future.
To accelerate these reunions, we will empower each family by partnering with them to help provide a new home. A 500-square-foot concrete home offers sanctuary, comfort, and security for a family starting fresh. Built in 30-45 days by local workers, each $16,000 home is a foundation for new beginnings. But these homes are more than just walls and windows. They represent investment in the community through job creation and skills training. And most importantly, they pave the road to reunification.
Our GLA Board will match the costs of up to 4 homes, meaning your donation is worth double on Giving Tuesday, making your impact go twice as far!
